Making sweet desserts, my own skill!

Learning to develop a new skill in something is likely one of the most challenging aspects of a person's life, whether it is due to time, fear, or lack of motivation. The truth is that learning something new always helps to develop oneself as a person and as a human being in general. In this blog, I am going to talk about one of the skills that helped me emotionally and physically.

Making sweet desserts is one of the skills that I consider the one that best describes me as a person also  I love food with sugar. I am sure that the tips that I will tell you in this blog could be useful to you whether it is to learn how to play an instrument, learn a language, or even make art. In addition, the tips I will give you can be developed without the need for a third person, that is to say, you can learn by yourself.

Don't Give Up

Although it may seem a bit common, not giving up is one of my first tips. There are people who, even if they put all their efforts into learning something new, simply do not succeed. However, why does this happen? This kind of thing happens most of the time because people expect to achieve their goals in a short time with little practice.

Try and try until you succeed!

My first dessert was jelly, cream, and fruit. It was very difficult to get the fruit to stay in the jelly, but in the end, I did it.

From easy to difficult

Whatever kind of skill you are developing, you have to start with easy challenges and then set more difficult challenging goals for yourself. For example, in order to be able to make more elaborate desserts I first started with easy recipes and few ingredients. Then,  I increased the difficulty of the desserts either by the elements or by the time it took to make them. You do not have to set very specific and challenging goals at the beginning because the result could not be good for you. Therefore, it could be very disappointing for you and you will give up.

           

One of my first easy desserts was baking cookies.

One of my last difficult desserts was making brownies. It was really a challenge as getting the brownie batter to reach its point was really hard.

Use Internet

The Internet is one of the most used tools by people for research or curiosity. Then, in this third tip, I recommend you to use the internet because here you can find a multitude of tutorials, images, or even steps to follow. Besides, the internet has become our teacher for the development of skills because here you can find social networks that help you like: YouTube, TikTok, Google, etc. In my case, I use TikTok because I find basic recipes for the desserts I want to make, and I use YouTube to specify more about the process of each dessert.
