Ecuador was the most relevant soccer team in the first match of the World Cup. During the last few years, the Ecuadorian team was considered as not being at the soccer level to win a match.  However, each and every soccer team was surprised by Ecuador's performance in the first match with Qatar, managing to beat Qatar 2-0.
